Starting p1 in two days!?

Oh my, the year went by so so so fast! I am moving on to my next milestone really soon - primary school!!

It was indeed a tearful departure from my childcare as I've spent about three years building great friendships with all my favorite classmates and teachers. This year's teachers were especially nice and caring. I seemed to have blossomed so much in the school! I impressed my teachers n classmates and often came home telling mummy I am the smartest boy in school, which makes her wonder what the teachers teach in school. Also during the meet the teachers sessions, my teachers would have nothing much to complain n only praises for me. That make her wonder even more. Haha! What magic has done to me to make me an entire different boy in school!

I love taking the stage and was given the main lead for my graduation concert. I practiced really hard and memorized all my scripts, and impressed everyone during the concert with my long lined and courageous performance. Mummy was indeed really proud of me.

As I type this, I know the next milestone is going to be quite different and I really hope i will enjoy school the same.

This year has been really fun and I have learnt to play piano really well. I also managed to be more independent and mummy has commented it has been easy bringing me everywhere. I am hoping to travel to more places next year!

Let's just hope I can wake up happy everyday, catch the school bus on time and have nice teachers and friends at my new school :) wish me luck!

2015 is here?!

OMG. I totally didnt update on my blog for more than a year. It shows how hard I must have been working at school (and at home).

It's been quite an exciting 2013-2014 (plus 1 day in 2015) for me, for I've switched school (did I mention it previously?) and am entirely comfortable with my current class and teachers. I have a 'gang' of friends in school whom I get into trouble with all the time, and mummy cringe each time the teacher calls her  on the phone or talks to her after school, because other than them praising me (which is not very often), she would receive news such as me strangling my friend (and I got punished for this), disturbing my friends, talking incessantly during enrichment class or jumping around the chairs or on the chairs in class. Other than that, I've been quite well behaved (so says Teacher Ashley but mummy just doesnt believe her). -_-""  School's been pretty good (because they dont teach much) and I got to watch many movies at school (much to Mummy's disgust and disappointment towards the school's reported SPARKS accreditation). I also learnt vulgar language in school, learnt to fight and learnt to sing funny songs (like the  Ninja turtles songs) from my 'gang' leader and best friend Brian.  I will be K2 next year! I can now do the abacus to add or subtract all the way to 20 (although I do it terribly slow and didnt make it to the certification stage). I can spell but I sometimes get 3/5 for spelling because I forgot to study. I can also count using my fingers and exasperate my mother who tries her very best to teach me (and force me to memorize) number bonds. I can converse in mandarin with my popo and read very simple chinese words (after being forced to go to weekly chinese enrichment classes). I learnt nothing from my social emotional learning class (aka ESL) and am still having problems coping with my emotions (e.g. I still whine, scream and shout), but I can pretty much curse and swear at my parents when they try to discipline me. I eat the slowest in class (and of course at home) and exasperate my parents to death.

But, I am still adorable! I can play the piano well and at 5, I compose my own songs by shifting the scales of the different songs (and adding notes to the songs I know). I also can fix all kinds of lego toys on my own without anyone's help. I bully my brother all the time but actually i really really do find him very cute and love him very much (which I officially declares everyday by screaming 'I love you ging belt so much because you are so cute, followed by pinching his cheeks). I can finally feed myself (in 50-60 minutes) independently (plus with a hundred thousand prompts from screaming adults in the house). Oh did i mention, I have been on a plane three times, longest being the flight to and from Korea. It's quite an achievement although I still curse and swear during take off and landing because of the difference in air pressure. Mummy has promised to bring me to many other countries once she's found the money (like when), and I've prioritized Russia and Peru as the ones I want to go (because Russia looks the largest on the map and Peru is where Paddington Bear comes from).

Too many updates to give, too short a time. In essence, I'm growing up well and fine and I hope i stay healthy and strong and grow taller and fatter and be ready for Primary 1 in a year's time!

Cheers to a great 2015!

4 and a half

Wow. I am reaching 5 years! Isnt it incredible?

I havent been updating because I have been very busy developing my special powers .. hehehe

At 4.5 years, I still have great control over my parents and other adults because I demand to be fed at home. Spoon fed, literally. Tsk tsk. But in case my mummy is blamed for bad parenting, i think i ought to say that she's really trying her best to feed me so I would GROW and put on weight. I am still, quite small, for my age, no thanks to the low birth weight almost 5 years back.

Back to my special powers, I can read maps and read road signs very well. Just yesterday, I left mummy jaw-dropped because she was trying to speed up along the road and I told her straight in the face that the road sign says 'SLOW'. tsk tsk. Adults. Dun they read?

I love decoding street names and asking 'Why' to everything I want to know about the road. My favourite qn to my mummy is 'which road are we taking and why not the other way'. I think I exasperate her to the point where she's now using ' I don't know' as a response. Tsk tsk tsk. ADULTS.

I am loving school now though i Still dun nap in school. I used to not even eat lunch in school, but this has improved because I reckoned there's no point starving myself. I love my new friends in my new school and some of my teachers too.

OH, and my didi is really cute and I like to pinch his face really hard. I also cannot understand why we fight over the same toys all the time, but its very fun doing so.

Life's good. I should just not grow up so fast and not go to primary school (and face the stress) forever.

Almost 4!

Wow! It's been months since I've written anything here. Does anyone still visit this space anyway!?

Know what? I'm almost 4!! In a week's time! OMG!

Over the past few months, lotsa things happened! I changed school, ditched the bottle, learnt to speak very fluently, made new friends,  learnt how to share toys, learnt how to go without afternoon naps, mastered the art of cycling, learnt how to play games like Jenga, put on running shoes and started jogging with Mummy, read story books on my own and have learnt how to be a BIG BROTHER :))  make my Didi laugh when I am in a good mood, and I exasperate him into tears when he snatches my toys. I've added 1000 more words to my vocabulary bank (like anyone bothers counting), including big words like 'psychologist' and 'analyst', and I've learnt to frustrate people with 'why' questions. I can accurately point out inconsistencies and discrepancies in people's statement, and learnt how to order people around (actually I was born with this skill). I've also learnt how to survive each school day with only one slice with bread in the morning, skipping lunch at times, and having just plain water till dismissal at 5pm.. :) Oh, and on days I feel terribly tired, I scream and whine and turn all cranky and make the whole world go cranky with me.

I'm turning 4 :)

I'm still looking cute and good, thankfully.

And my parents still love me to bits. And I have a cute little brother who spice up my life and wakes me up every morning though I greet him with my whines and rants and cries. I have a super nice gong gong who cooks for me everyday and a super pd popo who loves me a lot and brings me to school (but curses and swears when I am cranky)....

I've all it takes, to be 4 :D

a BAD month

Nothingz worse than this past month. I got bruised in school, got hit on the head by a classmate, and got terminated by the horrible school. And today I am down with stomach flu.

Mummy looked at me and asked, 'Are u disappearing?' I hope I am not.

I am losing so much weight Mummy is wondering if they are even feeding me at school.

Ahh.. terrible end to this year. But December seems hopeful. New school, new friends, no more exams for Mummy and hopefully, the nightmare ends and I put on weight and things get better.

For now, my tummy still aches. But I dun think its as bad as how Mummy's heart aches.

The Miracle of God

So many things happened in the past month - I had unexplained bruises again, scratches on the face and things were really turning very ugly.

For one, school became really scary. And I come home everyday to tell my mother that I dont want to go to school and that school is really scary.

And so, somehow, we are thankful, that although things turned out a little ugly and that mummy made new enemies again (because of me?), there seemed to be light at the end of the tunnel.

Somehow we are reminded that when one door closes on us, another opens to new opportunities and experiences. Things happen for a reason. Though the process could be painful, I think it's part of growth, on my part, and on mummy's part.

I hope nothing drastic happens within the next month before I change a new school environment. And Mummy, all the best for your exams. Thanks for shouldering so much and braving through it all just for me. And sorry for hurting u. I really love u.

"I dont love you"

And amidst all the trouble i got in school, I had to tell my mom that I dont love her anymore.

"I love Daddy. Mummy go away."

Shes been pretty strong trying to juggle everything - school, home, us and really everything. Too strong perhaps.

It's time to tell her that I've had enough and she can get out of my life.

I am not changing my mind.

"I dont love u Mummy"
