It's the GREAT outdooRs with Lotsa Sun for the next Few Weeks!
I am finally well after 4-5 days of ordeal.
Though the ulcers have disappeared and I am left with only 2 spots of rash on my sole, I can't get near other kids.
Mommie did some research and read somewhere that the virus causing hfmd can still be spread 2-4 weeks after it first hits the affected kid. Which translates to say I can't really be near other kids else I would be spreading this terrible disease. That's really scary cos' all childcare centres allow the affected kids to go back to school once their ulcers and fever disappears. It's no wonder the hfmd figures soar rocket high. That's really terrible.
Being so civic conscious, Mommie decided that we should only go to places where I wont get to touch any toys or get near any kids. And there has to be lotsa sun to kill wadever germs or bacteria.
So today, we made our way to ECP and chose a deserted corner for me to walk ard and play with my shadow. Oh ya, and she wiped my hands and mouth with wet wipes every half hour.
The weather was really hot but the breeze made us all feel better :)
I still had lotsa fun :D
And that's us, baking in the sun (can u spot mommie hiding to shield herself away from the sun?).
I guess we'll be visiting this deserted part of ECP quite often in the weeks to come =D
My Reward Chart
She gives me a sticker every time she thinks I behaved well.
I earned a sticker when I don't whine after a bath, and when I slept thru' the night without waking up for milk. She also gave me a sticker when I am generally good.
Hrmmm.. But she says this isn't exactly how the chart works and she's being very nice as she's warming me up for more concrete beh mod in the future.
Sounds like a big plan.
Anyway, I love the fish stickers and I count them every hour. Yes, I boasted to Daddie I hv 7 stickers and he doesnt hv one. :)
Mb mommie shd give Daddie stickers too, to stop him from coming hm late, taking all the time he wants in the toilet, snoring at night and daydreaming. Hee. Okies, Daddie does deserve some stickers too, for clearing the rubbish, feeding me water at night and rubbing Mommie's aching back when she demands he does so. =P
Aftermath of HFMD...
Hrm.. how come Mommie din get to sleep??
Btw, that's our pathetic make-shift 'beds' and we've been sleeping like this for the past 10 months. Indeed, this sleeping arrangement isn't doing mommie's bad back any good. But there's really nothing much we could do given the space and cash available.
Yes, we are yearning for our flat to be ready, soon. By then, we'll get proper beds instead of sleeping like this. And Mommie wouldnt have to put up with two 'snorers' next to her each night (or so thinks her). Hehehee.
And I must add, other than catching up on sleep, I am catching up on my meals as well. Now I need more milk to feel satisfied and I've been waking up at night for milk. I also eat a lot now (e.g. drink 240ml of milk, eat a slice of bread, eat an egg, and can still ask for more milk and finish up another 240ml of milk, all in 3 hours) and I hope to store more food in my tummy in case I can't eat again due to upsetting ulcers and a sore throat.
I certainly hope I wont get HFMD again. But the attention showered upon me was indeed heart-warming. For 5 days, everyone gave me what I wanted and did what I told them to do. :) Perhaps that's the only good thing out of the whole hfmd episode =D

terrible august
Its been two terrible days and nights. My head hurts all the time. I cant drink any milk and porridge tasted like acid everytime it reached my mouth. I cant sleep well and I wake up crying. It's not the whining cry but the distressing cry that reminds mommie so much of the terrible thursdays when I was a month old. Yesterday night, I vomited a lot of phlegm, right on mommie. And to make things worse, I cant swallow my saliva, so I really look totally dysfunctional with saliva dripping all over. The rashes have made their appearance on my soles, legs, hands and lower lip. For a moment, Mommie really wondered if the MMRv jab induced some autism traits in me. I cant respond properly to her and I refused to look at her in the eye. All I can manage is to fuss and cry. I dont even want my pacifier anymore.
I have never been so ill.
And today, mommie took me to Dr Saw again. And he made me wail when he stuck a long stick into my mouth. He concluded that I hv HFMD. Oh man.
This is really perplexing. I dun go to a childcare centre (yet) and I haven been in much contact with other kids. Where did I catch it?!?!

16 months and totally sick
Thanks to the MMRV jab.
It's a big nono to anyone who intends to let their child take it.
I had high fever, rashes, lost my appetite, refused dinner and milk and is now suddenly cranky, teary and irritable.
No wonder they said there's sth wrong with the MMR jab. There's indeed something more wrong with the mmrv jab.
My caution to all fellow babies -- Dun take the jab!!!!!!
